In Fairport, NY there were a group of 5 girls who perished in a horrific car accident. These girls were cheerleaders who were all beautiful, popular and good kids. One of them was Bud's ice cream girl (she worked at the local ice cream shop). This has been all over the local and national news, and it is very tragic.
Three weeks ago there was another accident that took the lives of 3 high school kids. This one just as tragic has not received 1/3 of the publicity that these ladies got. It makes me so angry that the class president and his girlfriend got very little time and the 5 cheerleaders get national attention.
No matter, my thoughts and prayers go out to the families.

I am a wife, mommy and friend. I love the NY Jets, Amerks Hockey and the snarkalupagus' apple pie. The name "mommyrox" comes from my little guy who one day out of the blue said "ya know mommy rocks". Well, who am I to argue with that. So here you will read about my happenings should you be so brave (or bored).
